A red light on a Tyxal+ can also indicate a supervision fault, meaning a loss of radio communication with a detector. In this case, check the batteries of the affected detector and its distance from the panel.

When the problem goes beyond simple home troubleshooting

Some situations require the intervention of a professional. You have checked the tele-info wiring, tested the forced operation, ruled out a power outage, and the red light persists. At this point, two hypotheses remain on the table.

The first: the energy manager itself is faulty. Electronic components age, and a box installed more than ten years ago may lose its ability to interpret the tele-info signal. Replacement is cheaper than prolonged troubleshooting.

The second: the Linky meter sends a signal incompatible with your model of manager. Some older Delta Dore models were designed for electromechanical meters. The transition to Linky changes the format of the tele-info signal, which can generate a permanent load shedding fault.

In both cases, an electrician familiar with Delta Dore systems can measure the tele-info signal with a multimeter and confirm the exact source of the problem. Requesting a repair quote at this stage is the most reasonable approach.
